The location is unbeatable.
The location is unbeatable if you like privacy, quiet surrounds and quality family time to relax. The outdoor space is excellent even on the rainy days, our family loved the water pool, the snorkeling was magic with the coral’s spectacular colour and fish to explore straight out the back door! The kayaks were a hit and used every day. The accommodation space lends itself to hanging out together or quietly retreating to one of the bedrooms. The kitchen space and amenities were plenty for home cooking and easy bbq’s for dinner. The driver was reliable, good value, friendly and helpful. William added to making our holiday easy and flexible allowing us to explore the many activities, dining out and seeing the best of Vanuatu.
Great for small kids and adults alike
We had a lovely stay despite the unusual rain for September. The house is in a gated community with security at both ends. It is about a 15 minute walk to the gate, which we did every day. With a short walk from the gate down to the port you can pick up the local buses to take you into town. Alternately, you can ring the local driver who can pick you up. The walk was spectacular with views across the bay and we watched sail boats and the cruise ships pass the house. The house was clean with plenty of linen. A fantastic outdoor space with a rock pool to swim in, so great for small kids and adults alike. The house manager, Jinny was fantastic and checked up on us several times. We organised a day cruise trip through Jinny, which was great. As we like to do our own thing it was good to know that we could still ring Jinny for advice, suggestions or help. This is an incredible value-added service and much appreciated. If you arrive late in the evening there is a shopping service for essential items and included return transfers for stays over 7 nights. Pity about the weather but a great stay in a wonderful house.
